Muutamana
“hotellin”, johon lemmikit pääsevät asumaan omistajien loman
meluisine koirineen. Kuban pitäisi siis päästä tähän
“hotelliin” meidän poissaoloajaksi. Toivottavasti kaikki menee
niin kuin on luvattu.

For a few nights now, I have had some trouble sleeping, mainly because of worrying about Kuba. As I wrote before, we were going to leave him here, as we thought it would be the less stressful thing to do, for us, and hopefully for Kuba too. But I was still not 100% convinced I could actually leave him.
Well, so it happened, that we don't have any other choice; Kuba's rabies antibody test results weren't on the level EU requires, so there's no way to bring him now. The test needs to be repeated and the earliest possible he could come to Europe is in October. The vet promised to take care of Kuba's departure, but I don't see much point in that as we are coming back in December. And in October we are busy learning to live with a newborn.
The vet has promised to take care of Kuba for the time we are away. Kuba has stayed with him already before, in his clinic. Now the vet told that he has a brand-new pet hotel, where Kuba could stay as the clinic is not an optimal place for him (there's an animal shelter working also, and dozens of more or less noisy and aggressive street dogs, they are busy with). I hope it'll work out as promised.
Even I know, this is the only option we have, and that probably everything will go ok (like my husband keeps patiently repeating), I can't help it that I feel bad for Kuba and I already miss him even we are still here. I'm afraid that something happens to him and we'll never see him again. Or that he's mistreated. Perhaps, I should not take it so seriously, after all he is “just a dog” and very soon we will have bigger things to think about. But Kuba is part of my family, my first baby, and I want only best for him.
Voi video. Toivoen kaikki järjestyy koiruuden parhaaksi :/.
ReplyDeleteP.S. Ihana nähdä katukuvaa sieltä. :)
Pitäiskin ottaa enemmän katukuvia, että muistais sitten jälkeenpäin miltä täällä näytti. Ehkä ens talvena... :D
